The head of the Roman Catholic Church in Tonga has suspended a priest and a deacon from active duty reports Radio Tonga.Bishop Soane Patita Mafi made the decision following allegations that the duo were involved in sexual misconduct, according to the director of the church's department of communcations, Viliami Falekaono.
The priest was the assistant head of the Lapaha parish while the deacon was the deputy head of the Houma parish.
