Due to the ongoing determination of those involved in preventing the Diocesan desecration of the baby and poor plots, Belfast City Council has now - thankfully - become involved.
Upon completion of a visual and physical inspection of the lands (6.28 acres) returned to the Diocese by the Ulster Wildlife Trust some years ago, the official from Belfast City Council was horrified at the damage caused to the graves by the 14 tonne diggers used by the Diocese of Down and Connor in its attempts to destroy the graves of the innocent for the purposes of profiteering.
The Diocese of Down and Connor now stands accused of not being honest and transparent with Belfast City Council, to such an extent that we are now aware that going forward, other Government departments are going to now be involved.
It seems that due to the possibility (more likely probability) of criminal damage having taken place, the PSNI may now also have to become involved.
We will keep you all informed as time goes on and will be making our own visits in due course.
