Cardinal Théodore-Adrien Sarr is a Roman Catholic prelate.Currently, the cardinal heads the Archdiocese of Dakar, Senegal.
Cardinal Sarr was born on November 28, 1936 in Fadiouth.
In 1964 Archbishop Sarr was ordained a priest for Dakar, and appointed bishop of Kaolackten and then archbishop of Dakar years later.
On November 24, 2007, he was created a Cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI, in the second such consistory of his pontificate.
