Parish In Bray (32)

"After waiting 8 months we have now been informed that finally the results of the last hearing in this case from July 2009 will be out in the next week".

With decisions for all the other cases heard since July 2009 to February 2010 having already been published it is very strange that the decision in this case took so long.

Let us hope there was no Church interference that delayed same!!

The clock is also ticking - tick tock - until the next hearing in Wicklow Circuit Court on May 11 with battle stations already formed for a major fight for justice to be done finally in this case.

State of play -

Secretary won case before the Rights Commissioner April 2007 for having no written Contract for over 3 years. Fr. White was in breach of Labour Law.

Equality Tribunal hearing - results pending.

Appeal to the Wicklow Circuit Court in the matter of Unfair Dismissal - case awaiting hearing.

We wish to thank all those who have given their continued support to the Parish Secretary since September 2005.

As more news becomes available we will keep you updated."
