Stanisław Ryłko (born July 4, 1945 in Andrychow, Poland) is the current President of the Pontifical Council for the Laity.
In 1995 he was made Titular Archbishop of Novica and Secretary of the Pontifical Council for the Laity.
In 2003 he was appointed President of the Pontifical Council for the Laity.
On 17 October 2007, Pope Benedict XVI announced that he will make Ryłko a Cardinal.
Ryłko has been elevated to the College of Cardinals in the consistory at St. Peter's Basilica on today, November 24, 2007.
