Veritas Ad Pulled!!

In a previous posting here (Veritas - Wishing You A Very Happy *&^%mas) we advised how Veritas - which is owned by the Irish bishops - were going to somehow defy the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of Ireland (BCCI) and advertise for Christmas.

The ad was going to sound something like a swear message as beeps were going to be used in lieu of the word Christ, and this would have had to be done 13 times in the course of the advert.

Sense has prevailed and the advert has now been pulled which is most welcome and please God the plonkers that came up with it in the first place will be given the most ceremonious kick in the behind for it.

However, there are others over in the BCCI also most deserving of a few kicks in the holy ground as well for their Nazi-like censorship in this matter, and no doubt a few choice words have been attached to their names in a few places.

Ah well, Mother Ireland is rearing them still...
