It seems that Bishop Wishy Washy Willie Walsh down there in the Diocese of Killaloe just cannot keep his nose out of anything and everything stirring in his homestead.
Never mind hosting the travellers on his front lawn (now residing around in the backyard of the episcopal palace), and his involvement in ousting a Garda Chief Superintendent from his job, it seems the Bish just aint content in dealing with religious matters.
He decided to throw himself upon the mercy of the judge in the Sharon 'LyingEyes' Collins alongside the Ennis Mayor, and stated to aforementioned judge that Ms Collins was 'honest, caring and truthful.'
Fine words indeed for a woman who had gone online to seek a hitman to murder her partner and his 2 sons and now facing 6 years in prison which she is going to appeal.
Same said Bishop has also done likewise in numerous cases before the courts and one has to wonder how he feels it is necessary for him to intervene, as indeed an opinion poll carried out by local radio station Clare FM clearly also questioned his involvement.
Ah sure, he might just be preparing his voice for when he retires and joins the retired male singers group down there in Ennis...and it might just help rid him of his very questionable interactions with An Garda Síochána in his (spiritual) domain leading to false arrests, statments et al down there.
They truly deserve each other as it certainly does take a thief to know a thief!!
Intersting times ahead when the court case of the murdering son of a garda in Ennis comes before the court down there for killing an innocent young traveller lad...
...what side of the fence then Bishop or will you just sit this one out and not let your mouth run wild??
