CROSSES will appear in the skies all over Mayo in the days leading up to May 11 next according to self-proclaimed visionary Joe Coleman, who claims the next apparition of Our Lady will take place at Knock on that date.
This is the latest in a string of Knock-related predictions and claims by Coleman, all of which have been roundly dismissed by the Irish Catholic Church.
Coleman, who lives in Dublin, has called on people in Mayo to have Masses said in their local churches at 3pm on Tuesday, May 11, for peace and conversion in Ireland.
He claims that this will be the exact same time as the next apparition of Our Lady.
He also claimed that the crosses will appear in the sky ‘as a sign from Our Lady’, who is “pleading with the Irish people to return to their faith and to seek reconciliation at this time of great hardship in Ireland.”
“Most of the messages I have received from Our Blessed Mother since December are, she has told me, related to the Second Coming of Jesus on the Earth, the time of which, she has told me, is drawing very close.
“Whether or not people believe in the apparitions, I am pleading with all Catholics, lapsed or otherwise, who have any kind of devotion to Our Lady to heed her message. They should ask their local priests to have Masses said at this time – to honour her in the Marian Month.
“This is a time when people are not only disillusioned with the Catholic Church but when they are now enduring one of the toughest times in their lives during this recession.
“She wants people to receive reconciliation and the Holy Eucharist on the day. This will, she has told me, help avert world unrest, ecological disasters which are imminent and to redeem our faith in Jesus,” he said.
Last October, thousands gathered at Knock Shrine after Joe Coleman predicted Our Lady would appear at the old parish church.
He also predicted the same apparition in December, but this attracted smaller crowds.
