My dear bloggies, it has come to my attention through this site how some parishes are struggling in their attempts to get vestments, lectionaries and liturgical necessities such as incensers et al.We here at CW have discussed this matter, and as many appeals have been made known to you all through here, we felt it is time for us to do something practical as well.
Therefore, we are now launching the Clerical Whispers Aid Appeal, but the one condition of this is that we will NOT BE SEEKING MONEY from any of you.
What we are going to be appealing for will be used vestments in good condition, liturgical vessels and lectionaries if possible, and with some parishes closing, rather than losing such precious items, why not send them to us and we will forward them to parishes in the developing world that could certainly use them.
Whatever you can contribute will be sincerely welcomed, and if you feel that you may have something to contribute, please do get in touch, and we will give all the necessary contact details.
