The Bishop of Killaloe has been honoured with a lifetime achievement award ahead of his retirement next year. Bishop Willie Walsh received the Reality Magazine Lifetime Achievement award at the second such event organised by the Redemptorist Community.
Bishop Willie spoke of the recent Ryan Report and the forthcoming Dublin report on child abuse in the Catholic Church, describing them as devastating, but he said they were part of a badly-needed process.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
