This is not taking into account the different subsets of Christianity or Islam.
Not that I think Catholicism is the only way to express your belief in God.
However, all religions of the world and even Atheism should be concerned.
Catholicism is a common thread in all Christianity and Islam has been trying to surpass Christianity since its inception.
Catholicism has its roots in Istanbul Turkey. Christianity began in the Holy land of modern day Israel and Rome is considered the birthplace of the Roman Catholic Church.
But Constantinople (modern day Istanbul Turkey) was the seat of the Eastern Roman Empire and was the center for the early Catholic Church in 330 A.D.; Emperor Constantine I had moved the capital of the Western Roman Empire (Rome) to the City of Constantinople where it became the capital of the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire and later the Orthodox Byzantine Empire.
The Byzantine Empire (the City of Constantinople) fell to the Ottoman Muslim Empire in 1453.
This was the result of the split of the Roman Catholic Church of Rome and the Eastern Orthodox Church of the East. Constantinople had been sacked during the fourth Crusade of 1204.
The conquest of Constantinople had been an ongoing desire of Islam. So today, Constantinople is lost to Islam and now Muslims outnumber Roman Catholics. This revelation will be lost on the West but will be celebrated in every Mosque in the World.
This might be the beginning of the end of Western Democracy, as we know it today. Sharia law will be waiting in the shadows.
As the Muslim populations grow, so will the threat of Sharia law. We hear of the love and peace of Islam but the true intentions of Islam will be revealed to the nonbeliever.
Muslims now represent about 19% of the World population of 6.5 billion. Roman Catholics represent only about 17% of the World population. Christians of all denominations represent approximately a third of the World population.
Today, the Western World is caught up in the fast pace of chasing after the almighty dollar. Secularism, and the loss of the family unit plus declining Western populations, are leading to the dilemma of Islamic domination.
It is not the threat of the Jihadist but the domination of the Muslim masses by the Jihadists. Is the West willing to lose its way of life, technology and freedoms?
If the West doesn’t get its head out of the sand, it will find its head laying in the sand.
