Ex-priest Rodis pleads not guilty to 10 larceny charges

The former Catholic priest accused of stealing from two Louisa County churches pleaded not guilty today to 10 embezzlement charges.

Rodney L. Rodis appeared this afternoon in Louisa Circuit Court.

Rodis is accused of redirecting for personal use up to $1 million donated to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Bumpass and St. Jude Catholic Church in Mineral while he was pastor of both from 1995 to 2006.

A trial date was set for Oct. 10.
