More than 16,000 people have been affected and close to 800 killed by an outbreak of cholera, with numbers are increasing by the day.
The outbreak was triggered in part by the breakdown in the country’s infrastructure and healthcare system as well a chronic shortage of clean water.
Bishop Levee Kadenge, national convenor of the Zimbabwe Christian Alliance, says the outbreak in Zimbabwe has crippled the nation. The bishop says his country is "under siege and full of distress".
Bishop Kadenge stresses the churches have an important role in sending messages of hope and steadfastness to people across the country.
Christian Aid is supprting the Zimbabwe Christian Alliance and encouraging Christians in the UK to do what they can to help by using the free resource.
The contents include a prayer for use in Sunday service, a sermon to include the Zimbabwe crisis, a call and response prayer for intercessions, and prayer support messages to local charities working in Zimbabwe.
