This practical workshop will be facilitated by the Irish Church Music Association (ICMA) and will be of benefit to choirs who will have the opportunity to learn more about sacred music in liturgy throughout the liturgical seasons.
The ICMA, founded in 1969, supports the work of musicians working in the field of liturgical music in Ireland.
Through training, publication and dissemination of information, the ICMA strives to improve standards and encourage musicians in their service of God and the community.
The ICMA is supported by the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference and is based in the National Centre for Liturgy, St Patrick’s College, Maynooth, Co. Kildare.
All choirs are welcome to attend the workshop. Attendance will cost €10 per person, and booking in advance is essential.
