A bag containing headless chickens was discovered at Holy Spirit
Roman Catholic Church Thursday morning, according to Nassau County
Police.
Detectives said a 58-year-old man was performing landscaping work at
Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church Thursday morning when he came across a
plastic bag on the property.
Inside the bag, which was placed in front
of a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, were two headless chickens, cops
said.
The bag was reportedly dropped at the statue between 6 p.m. Wednesday
and 8:50 a.m. Thursday, when the landscape worker made the discovery,
police reported.
