The Funeral Mass for Father Michael Ross SDB will take place
tomorrow, Thursday 3 November at 11.30am in Saint Agnes’ Church, Crumlin
village in Dublin.
The Provincial of the Salesians of Don Bosco, Father
Michael Casey SDB, will be Chief Celebrant at this Requiem Mass.
The late Father Michael Ross SDB was Spiritual Director of Radio
Maria Ireland, Ireland’s only Catholic radio station, which officially
launched on 11 February of this year, the feast day of Our Lady of
Lourdes.
Father Ross was also widely known for his particular veneration
of Saint Faustina and his important ministry in this regard played a
large part in the success of the annual Divine Mercy Conference.
A special message of condolence by Archbishop Eamon Martin, Chair of
the Council for Communication of the Irish Episcopal Conference, will be
delivered at this Mass.
Father Ross died peacefully on Sunday 30 October surrounded by his
loving family and Salesian community in the kind care of the staff of
Saint James’s Hospital, Dublin.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin village on Tuesday from 4.30pm to 7.30pm
Wednesday from 10am until removal on Wednesday evening to St Agnes’s Church, Crumlin Village, arriving at 8pm.

Burial will take place after 12 noon Mass in Salesian College Chapel,
Pallaskenry, on Friday 4 November to Community Cemetery, Pallaskenry,
