A Polish bishop has joined the debate the request by four cardinals for Pope Francis to clarify Amoris Laetitia.
“It would be just to respond” to the four cardinals, said Bishop
Jozef Wrobel, an auxiliary of the Lublin archdiocese.
Noting that the
four cardinals were not disputing the Pope’s authority, but asking for
clarification of the document, he said: “It is evidently necessary to
answer them.”
In an interview with the Italian daily La Fede Quotidiana, Bishop Wrobel indicated that he was sympathetic to the cardinals’ concerns about confusion raised by the papal document. “Amoris Laetitia is not well written,” he said.
