Copies of Pope Francis’ new Apostolic Letter entitled Misericordia et misera, (“Mercy and Misery”),
issued to coincide with the conclusion of the Jubilee Year of Mercy on
20 November, will be available shortly in all nine Veritas stores and on
www.veritas.ie.In 2013, Veritas published Pope Francis’ first Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium (The Joy of the Gospel), which to date has sold over 23,000 copies.
In 2015, Veritas published Pope Francis’s encyclical letter Laudato Si – on care for our common home.
Earlier this year Veritas also published Amoris Laetitia (The Joy of Love), the Apostolic Exhortation from Pope Francis.
The director of Veritas, Mr Aidan Chester said, “We expect to see a high demand from Irish customers for copies of Pope Francis’ new apostolic letter in order that they can read directly for themselves the words of Pope Francis on mercy.”
