No sting in the tail as Meenacross Church to reopen for Mass

A wasp infestation that forced the temporary relocation of Mass in west Donegal has now been resolved.

St Patrick's Church in Meenacross has now been cleared and is expected reopen as normal for Mass this Sunday morning.

The surprise swarm stung parish officials into action last weekend as they were forced relocate the weekly 9am Mass to St. Crona's Church in Dungloe as a precaution while the issue was dealt with.

The situation has now been resolved, meaning parishioners can once again return to St Patrick's on Sunday.
