Diocesan Changes 2026 - Cashel & Emly

The Archbishop of Cashel and Emly, Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly SMA, has made the following clerical appointments in the Archdiocese, which will take effect from the weekend of 15-16 August 2026.
 
Rev Father Tom Fogarty PP  Moycarkey, Littleton and Two-Mile-Borris, to be PP of Loughmore and Castleiney.

Part of the Parish Pastoral Combination of Borrisoleigh and  Ileigh; Drom and Inch; Loughmore and Castleiney; Templemore, Clonmore and Killea.
 
Rev Father Dominic Meehan, PP Loughmore and Castleiney to be PP of Moycarkey, Littleton, Two-Mile-Borris.

Part of the Pobal Éile Parish Pastoral Combination of Gortnahoe and Glengoole; Moycarkey, Littleton and Two-Mile-Borris; Templetuohy and Moyne; Thurles.
 
Rev Father Thomas Lanigan-Ryan, returning from sabbatical leave to be PP of Mullinahone.

Part of the Slievenamon Parish Pastoral Combination of Ballingarry; Drangan and Cloneen; Fethard and Killusty; Killenaule and Moyglass; Mullinahone.
 
Rev Father John Littleton, returning from sabbatical leave to be Priest in Residence in the parish of Kilbehenny and Anglesboro. Diocesan delegate for Ecumenism. Available to assist with pastoral development in the archdiocese. To assist in the Christ the King Parish Pastoral Combination of Ballylanders; Galbally and Lisvernane; Kilbehenny and Anglesboro; Knocklong and Glenbrohane.
 
Canon Thomas F Breen, AP in the parish of Fethard and Killusty to retire from active ministry.
