Confident that work will be completed in time for the centenary of the death of Antoni Gaudi, the Sagrada Familia Foundation has released a computer-generated 3-D video depicting how the final landmark will look.
Some 65pc of the work has been completed since the first stone was laid by Gaudi in 1882, and the architectural team believes that the final spires and main facade will be finished within 13 years.
"If we continue at the pace we are now we will make it," said Jordi Fauli, the chief architect.
The basilica attracts three million tourists a year.
