Therapist of Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Tsisana Shartava said
that state of Ilia's II health is stable, but the flu provoked
inflammation in his gallbladder and the council of physicians suggested
moving him to Germany.
"If the inflammatory process is not stopped, operation can be needed, so
the council of physicians is careful and suggests the patriarch to go
to Germany for treatment, but he refuses," Shartava told the journalists
on Thursday.
She says the patriarch feels better, but there always is a risk of
complications when it comes to infection, and there can be a problem,
which should be treated in due course.
