Vanuatu-based Catholic Marist priest
Father Lolesio Tupa of Nambatu Catholic Church has been suspended from
his pastoral duties following a complaint by his former cook, Carmen
Molves, who accused him of having an intimate relationship with Joset
Malbaus, a 53-year-old woman who was living in the priest’s residence
with her child.
Fr. Tupa
said that the allegations were false and hopes that the Marist Oceania
Province Provincial in Suva, Fiji, Fr. Milikiade Raiyalu performs a
proper investigation to uncover the truth and lifts his suspension and
reinstates him as Parish Priest for Nambatu.
