The Bishop of Elphin and Achonry, Kevin Doran has called on the Government to end all trade with Israel given the latest attack on Gaza by the Israeli Defence Forces.
In a statement posted on social media, Bishop Doran said: “I deplore the man-made famine and the latest genocidal attack by the Israeli Defence Forces on the civilian population of Gaza city.
"I encourage all our people to pray for peace and I call on our Government to end all trade of any kind with the State of Israel.”
