Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly SMA, Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly, has announced the following clerical appointments for the archdiocese to take effect from August 23 and 24 this year.
Father Thomas Lanigan-Ryan, PP, Ballina and Boher will undertake a one year sabbatical programme 2025-2026.
Father Jimmy O’Donnell, PP, Killenaule and Moyglass to become administrator of Drangan and Cloneen.
Father Derry Quirke, PP, Ballingarry to be administrator of Mullinahone.
Father John Littleton, Director of the Priory Institute, Tallaght, Dublin, will return to the archdiocese. Father Littleton will undertake a sabbatical year 2025 – 2026.
Father Joe Walsh, PP, Anacarty and Donohill, to retire as part-time Chaplain to MIC, Saint Patrick’s Campus, Thurles.
The Appointments take effect from Saturday 23rd /Sunday 24th August 2025
