A priest in the Diocese of Clogher has
been granted a temporary leave of absence from his ministry while an
allegation against him is being investigated.In a statement this afternoon – the Diocese of Clogher says it has been informed of a child safeguarding allegation that relates to some years ago.
The allegation has been reported to the civil authorities and the statement says all procedures laid down by the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland are being followed.
