Well friends,It has now reached the date when we take our annual summer break which allows for some of the team to move to their new parishes and abodes, and we sincerely wish them well as they again settle in to a new parish and flock.
Before we part company for the next few days, returning on 16th, we wan t give you the following details:
* nearly 1.25 million hits on the site have been recorded and we have been told that the actual true number of hits (including repeat returns etc) is almost 14.5 million and
* people from over 138 different countries/states/sovereigns have visited us, with
* Ireland, USA, Australia, UK and Vatican being - in the order given - the most regular visitors, and
* Ceylon, Singapore, Iceland, Denmark and Nigeria being those who have visited us the least amount of times (come on guys all are welcome!!!)
* There are now 25, 437 postings on the site in totality, averaging 25 posts per day, which since January 1st 2010, have been viewed
* by on average 143 people per day, per posting (over 1,000 views per post per week), resulting in
* over 8,500 comments being contributed.
AS this year sees CW heading into the latter half of its 4th year, the focus shall be on maintaining the standards and the commitment of all concerned, with some changes due in all areas beginning October 2010.
The CW Appeal has now reached the €20,000 mark, and the distribution of donations shall continue unabated, and we sincerely tank all of you who have contributed, assisted in helping sorting and sending the contributions to the most in need areas and have kept the whole thing going in one way or another for the last while.
We part company with you all now and look forward to being back on the 1th July for the 2nd half of a year which has no doubt been a difficult year, and we hope and pray for you all.
