A stunning silver tabernacle lamp has been restored to its full glory as part of refurbishment works at St Eunan’s Cathedral in Letterkenny.
The lamp was given a thorough polishing as part of wider works taking place at the Cathedral this week, including a major repainting project.
St Eunan’s Cathedral will fully re-open to the public again on Wednesday the 1st of October.
However one of the parts of the refurbishment that is fully complete is the works carried out on the Cathedral’s beautiful tabernacle lamp, which parishoners were able to see this weekend.
“The Cathedral will fully re-open with its usual schedule on Wednesday 1st October with the conclusion of the painting project,” St Eunan’s said on social media.
