* considered a traditionalist but moderate...has already held a Synod in Limerick which may yet be the template for other Dioceses and certainly noticed by Francis in Rome...already tipped for Archdiocese of Dublin or even to Rome

* not seen as a worry in relation matters theological etc (safe pair of hands) but watch this space with him

* turns 75 on 28th. March 2035

* considered a traditionalist and rules with an iron fist - not totally appreciated and no doubt he is disappointed at not going up the ranks a bit more (of which many are indeed glad)

* not seen as a worry in relation matters theological etc (safe pair of hands) will see out his time there

* turned 75 on 6th. June 2015 - many wondering why he has not been yet replaced as no shortage of conservatives in the midlands/west of Ireland to succeed - possible amalgamation of diocese(s) is being touted with a bishop already in situ in other diocese to which it may be co-joined so therefore an auxiliary is being considered 



Ossory :  Sede Vacante

* Seamus Freeman was mitred on 2nd. December 2007 and resigned on health grounds on 29th. July 2016 (would have been due for retirement on 23rd. February 2019)

* considered a traditionalist but moderate

* Diocese now currently being administered by Monsignor Michael Ryan who is not considered as a successor
