The Holy See Press Office has announced the
publication of the calendar of events that Pope Francis will preside
over in April and May.
Today, Sunday 7 April, he will celebrate the mass
for his enthronement as Bishop of Rome, in St. Peter’s Basilica, at
17:30.
On 14 April, the third Sunday of Easter, the Pope
will preside over a mass in the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls
at 17:30.
On 21 April, the fourth Sunday of Easter, he will celebrate a
mass and priestly ordinations at 9:30, in St. Peter’s Basilica.
On 28 April, the fifth Friday of Easter, Pope Francis will celebrate mass
and confirmations, at 10:00 in St. Peter's Square.
A recitation of the
Rosary will take place on Saturday 4 May at 18:00, in the Basilica of
St. Mary Major.
On 5 May, the sixth Sunday of Easter, he will preside over a holy mass for Confraternities at 10:00 in St. Peter's Square.
On 12 May, the seventh Sunday Easter, Francis will celebrate a mass and
the canonizations of Blesseds Antonio Primaldo and Companions; Laura di
Santa Caterina da Siena Montoya y Upegui; and Maria Guadalupe Garcia
Zavala, at 9:30 in St. Peter’s Square.
On Saturday 8 May at 18:00, there will be a Pentecost Vigil in St. Peter's Square with the participation of ecclesial movements.
Finally, on 19 May, Pentecost Sunday, Francis will celebrate a mass with the participation of ecclesial movements, at 9:00.
