The SDLP has reported a flute band to the PSNI after
it breached a Parades Commission ruling when marching past St Patrick’s
Church in Belfast at the weekend.
The commission ruled that a single drum beat was to be played as
the parade passed the church.
The SDLP’s Nichola Mallon said the PSNI
had been contacted.
Around 20 nationalist protesters turned out to
oppose the march at Clifton Street on Sunday.
The area became a
flashpoint after violence broke out last summer.
