The Most Revd Dr Michael Jackson took up his position
as Archbishop of the United Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough on Monday
April 11.
Archbishop Jackson was elected on February 2, following the
retirement of Archbishop John Neill, with the election approved by the
House of Bishops thereafter.
Dr Jackson has been Bishop of Clogher since 2002 and said farewell to
parishioners from across the diocese at a special service in St
Macartin’s Cathedral, Enniskillen on April 10.
Archbishop Jackson will
be enthroned in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin on Sunday 8 May at 4.00
p.m.
