Dear bloggies, may I take this opportunity to thank you all for taking the time to visit this site on a very consistent basis over the last 14 months or so.By so doing, you have contributed to the amazingly high numbers that are best outlined to you as follows:

* 5,600 articles have been posted on Clerical Whispers
* over 257,000 hits have taken place
* on average, 100 articles a week have been posted
* over 4,500 hits per week on the site (excluding repeat hits!!)
* over 1,000 articles on Clerical Whispers have been sent in to us by you (1 in 5.5)
* 3,211 comments have been sent to us, with over 57% of them being placed in the public domain
If ever a site has proved to be of use and viable to those who visit it, I firmly believe personally that Clerical Whispers has proven itself and it is all thanks to each and every one of you.
Some people have indeed questioned the point of the existence of this site and I will answer that now - this site exists because there has proven to be a need for it!!!
ALL articles used on this site have been verified at minimum 3 times before being posted here and with a minimum of editing is required thereafter.
Sometimes the articles are considered to be contrary to RC teaching/belief/doctrine etc but that is in fact intentional to the extent of challenging us ALL to be aware and be questioning of such issues for ourselves.
It is also a place whereby people can raise such issues without fear of retribution by those who would feel they are obligated to ensure the enforcing of the teaching/belief of the RC in a more forceful and non-accepting way of possible discussion.
This site is here for ALL but it does go beyond RC in some of the articles posted here as there is indeed a world beyond the RC world and indeed many issues currently facing the RC hierarchy are indeed being addressed by other faiths and perhaps we can allow ourselves to be aware of how such faiths are handling such issues.
Never be afraid to contribute your comment, criticism, queries or otherwise to Clerical Whispers and confidentiality is guaranteed once requested.
