Another Catholic church has been targeted in County Louth.
Ceramic planters on either side of the entrance to St Augustine's Church on Shop Street in Drogheda were discovered smashed this morning after the trees in them were apparently pulled over.
It happened a week after Fr Paddy Rushe made an appeal for information at mass where he revealed that papers had been set alight in a waste paper bin in the gallery area of the Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Tinure three days before.
Photos of the damage caused in the most recent incident were shared in a post on social media this morning, which said that a friar had cleaned up the mess.
