This is the first time in its fifty-year history that the parish has hosted such a wonderful occasion.
David, from Rousseau Grove, Norwood, will join two other Deacons ordained in the past year for our diocese.
The parish says that its prayers and good wishes go with David and his companions as they come forward to serve in their parishes.
This is a purely voluntary position and is appreciated and needed.
