Roscrea rising star, singer-songwriter Jack Keeshan, is set to release his latest single at a special event in his hometown this Friday.
‘Mary’, a song dedicated to the survivors of the Mother and Baby homes across Ireland, will be launched at an acoustic gig in the Abbey Hall's backroom in Roscrea on Friday October 24.
This unique acoustic show will see the talented young Roscrea songsmith perform his newest track as well as other recent successful singles, including the very popular song 'All in the Ripple' on the night from 7pm.
The completely unplugged gig will also see Edel Pender take to the stage on the harmonica to accompany the acoustic arrangement.
“The survivors deserve answers, and this song is dedicated to them,” Jack said on the inspiration and motivation behind writing ‘Mary’.
It’s been a busy 2025 for the local singer-songwriter who supported Irish music legends The High Kings on their current tour at the Gleneagle Arena in Killarney back in August.
He also took part in a Gig for Gaza at the Set Theatre in Kilkenny during the summer, and recently completed filming a new music video for his song ‘All in the Ripple’.
A proud Tipperary native, Jack Keeshan has built a reputation for crafting deeply personal songs that resonate with authenticity and raw emotion.
Having experienced more than his fair share of loss at a young age, he channelled his life experiences into music, that not only tells his story, but also encourages open conversations—particularly among young men - about emotions, resilience, and personal growth.
