The Adorers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Montmartre are enclosed contemplative Benedictine nuns who live in a community in Cobh, Cork.
The community are hosting a vocations weekend from 28-29 October, for those who feel they may be called to the holy life.
The vocations weekend will be held on the theme: “Are you called to help spread the Kingdom of the Sacred Heart through a life of Eucharistic Worship and Monastic Stability, Conversion of Life and Obedience? The Church needs you!”.
The nuns live according to the ancient Benedictine tradition of Ora et Labora (Prayer and Work).
Their special charism is that of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration, and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament continues from early in the morning until late at night.
