Pope Benedict XVI discussed education, youth and environmental
protection Monday with Seychelles President James Michel, the Vatican
said.
The two spoke about "engagement and cooperation in the
framework of promoting human dignity, particularly in the areas with
great social importance like family, youth education or protecting the
environment," the Holy See said in a statement.
Following his
meeting with the pontiff, Michel met with Vatican number two Cardinal
Tarcisio Bertone and Foreign Minister Dominique Mamberti.
