Diocesan Appointments 2010 - Killaloe

On 12th August 2010, Bishop Willie Walsh announced his last round of clerical changes before he retires on Sunday 29th August.

Fr. Pat Mulcahy, presently Parish Priest of Dunkerrin-Moneygall, becomes Parish Priest of Lorrah.

Fr. Colm Hogan, who has returned from missionary work becomes Parish Priest of Kildysart and Coolmeen-Cranny.

The full list of new Diocesan Appointments are as follows:

Fr. Tony Cahir, Parish Priest, Birr, Co Offaly to be Assistant Priest, Birr

Fr. David Carroll, Curate in Birr, to be Parish Priest Birr, Co. Offaly

Fr. Neil Dargan, Parish Priest of Kildysart to become Priest in Residence in O’Callaghan’s Mills/Kilkishen.

Fr John O’Keeffe, Parish Priest Coolmeen-Cranny to become Assistant Priest, Coolmeen-Cranny.

Fr Colm Hogan, returning from Guayaquil, Ecuador to become Parish Priest of Kildysart and of Coolmeen-Cranny.

Fr Donagh O’Meara, returning from Port Elizabeth, South Africa to become Parish Priest of Bodyke-Tuamgraney and of Ogonnelloe, residing in Ogonnelloe.

Fr Pat Deely, returning from a year’s study leave to be Curate to the St Cronan’s Cluster of Parishes.

Fr Pat Mulcahy, Parish Priest of Dunkerrin-Moneygall to be Parish Priest of Lorrha.

Fr Joe Kennedy, Parish Priest of Lorrha to be Parish Priest of Dunkerrin-Moneygall.

Mrs Margaret Ryan, Roscrea and Fr Pat Deely to be Diocesan representatives for Eucharistic Congress Committee.

Fr Brendan Moloney, Parish Priest of Silvermines to be Killaloe Diocesan Delegate to Trocaire.
