Bishop to speak to schools’ convention

The Bishop of Cork, the Right Reverend Paul Colton was one of the keynote spakers at the Annual Convention of the Association of Community and Comprehensive Schools

The ACCS conference was in White’s Hotel, Wexford from Thursday, 31st March until Saturday 2nd April.

The theme of the Convention this year was: “Community and Comprehensive Schools – Good Values and Good Value.” 

Bishop Colton had been invited to give a keynote address: “School Ethos in the Life of the School”.

Other speakers at the convention were Dr Diarmuid Martin (Archbishop of Dublin), the Minister for Education and Skills, Malachy Molloy (President, ACCS), Professor Ciarán Sugrue (School of Education UCD) and Seán Ó Longáin (former CEO, Co. Donegal, VEC).
