The Head of the Catholic Digby Stuart College at the University of
Roehampton, Suzy Harris, has given up her post after two years in the
job.
Professor Harris remains at the university as director of the
Research Centre in Beliefs, Rights and Values in Education in its
Department of Education.
A spokeswoman for Roehampton University told The Tablet:
“Professor Suzy Harris stood down as Head of Digby Stuart College in
November 2013 to return full time to her role within the School of
Education. Suzy worked tirelessly on behalf of Digby Stuart’s staff and
students in her two years as Head of the College."
"As well as her work supporting individual students, Suzy built a
full calendar of events complementing Digby Stuart traditions and
introduced popular innovations such as reviving the tradition of college
scarves and badges.”
Professor Harris has been succeeded as Head of College by Jackie Brown from the university’s Department of Social Sciences.
