Catholics in Wyandotte can expect parish changes with the upcoming merger of two churches in the community. St. Patrick Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wyandotte are merging under the name of St. Vincent Palloti.
Both church sites, however, will remain open, according to the Detroit Free Press.
The Archdiocese of Detroit parishes are among those affected by downsizing plans to address attendance and financial issues.
