The Department of Justice has said it has received the report about a
potential redress scheme for survivors of the Magdalene laundries.Mr Justice John Quirke's recommendations are expected to be considered by the Government this week.
Last week, the United Nations Committee Against Torture criticised the McAleese report into the Laundries as "limited" and "not sufficiently independent".
The UN's response gave voice to some of the concerns held by Magdalene Survivors Together.
Spokesperson Steven O'Riordan said the redress scheme must allow the women to move on.
