Seamus Treacy (70), with an address at Ashton Close, Swords, Dublin, appeared before Limerick District Court yesterday.
He is charged with 138 counts of indecent assault on 13 boys at the Sexton Street CBS primary school and at St Enda’s swimming pool, Roxboro, Limerick, on dates between 1978 and 1981.
Sgt Donal Cronin sought a further adjournment yesterday to allow for the completion of a book of evidence.
Judge Eugene O’Kelly said the age of the charges added to the complexity of the investigation and the number of charges required more administrative effort.
He adjourned the case to November 28th.
