The Latin Mass Society of Ireland is pleased to announce that the Very Rev Father Michael Cahill PP our chaplain will celebrate Holy Mass in the extraordinary form in The Sacred Heart Church Clones on Saturday 2nd May at 12.30 pm. The LMSI wished to thank Very Rev Cannon Duffy PP and Most Rev Joseph Duffy Bishop of Clogher for their permission.
We urge everyone within a reasonable distance of Clones to attend the Mass and then following the Mass, the LMSI invites all non-members in addition to members, to attend an open meeting in the Creighton Hotel, Clones, beginning at 2.30 pm to discuss the ongoing implementation of the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum in Ireland, with a particular focus on the province of Ulster.
We don't expect anyone overseas to drop everything to fly to Ireland for this, but if anyone does come from abroad, you will be made very welcome.
