A former student of a Catholic high school in Memphis has filed a
$1-million suit because the school’s principal told him he could not
bring a date of the same sex to a dance.
In his lawsuit, Lance Sanderson, now 19 and a former student of
Christian Brothers High School, cited “severe injuries and damages which
include, but are not limited to disability, past and future emotional
distress, past and future medical expenses and personal care services.”
