Exorcist priest reveals the two items he takes on every job to banish demons

An exorcist has revealed his essentials for battling demons.

The exorcist explained which items are most despised by the dark entities on the Shawn Ryan Show on Youtube.

Father Dan Reehil disclosed the tools he carries in his line of duty, and some of the items may surprise you.

The Roman Catholic priest, serving as the exorcist for the Diocese of Nashville, mentioned that aside from having a couple of bodyguards, he relies on a set of specific holy objects.

While some of his gear might be expected, Father Reehil surprised listeners by mentioning he also brings along a few relics to his exorcisms.

Brandishing his rosary, he declared, "This is the weapon, the rosary," calling it "my number one weapon".

He then revealed his most treasured tool for tackling possessions is a piece of the cross Christ died on.

"I take a piece of the true cross, that Christ died on," he admitted.

When asked about the relic, Father Reehil explained he received it from a bishop in Rome over twenty years ago, noting such an item would be nearly impossible to acquire today.

"It is almost impossible to get, unless you're a bishop," he remarked, adding, "But I had a bishop that took a liking to me.", reports the Daily Star.

He then shared how he employs his collection of unique relics, which also includes an artefact from the Cave of St Michael.

"So I have those items and exorcism salt and the holy water," he explained.

"The salt is like throwing burning oil on a demon. They can't take it, it's just pure pain. And so you put that in the holy water and it bolsters the holy water up to a high octane."

He noted that properly prepared, this mixture causes someone possessed to "scream as though they're being burned".
