After being injured by a landmine: Father Norberto Pozzi arrived in Bologna

Father Norberto Pozzi, the missionary wounded by a mine, is in Italy

The 71-year-old Italian Carmelite missionary Norberto Pozzi, injured by a landmine on the road from Bozoum to Bocaranga in north-western Central African Republic, arrived this morning February 24 in Bologna after a long flight that first took him from Entebbe (Uganda) to Amsterdam and then by ambulance plane to Bologna where he was admitted to the Rizzoli hospital.

Father Aurelio Gazzera, a confrere of Father Norberto, confirmed this to Fides.

The Italian missionary was accompanied by a Ugandan doctor and Father Aurelio Gazzera.
