Many have heard of the seven-year itch, but it is
the fifth year of marriage that is really the toughest, according to new
research.
A study of 2,000 married people found that most described the
first year as a whirlwind of wedded bliss, while the third year of
marriage was said to be the happiest of all as couples settle into a
comfortable co-existence.
However couples found the fifth the most difficult, due to tiredness and increasing workloads.
