Mgr Eamon Martin
Armagh : Archbishop Eamon Martin

* mitred on 21st. April 2013 - succeeded as Archbishop of Armagh 8th. September 2014

* considered a traditionalist...many not happy with his appointment and considered to be too much of a 'Mammy's Boy' who did not deserve the appointment and certainly not the red hat!!

* not seen as a worry in relation matters theological etc (safe pair of hands) will see out his time there

* turns 75 on 30 October 2036 (God help us all)

bishop_k_o_reillyCashel & Emly : Kieran O'Reilly, SMA

* mitred on 29 August 2010 - as Bishop Of Killaloe - a diocese where he was seen as uninterested with his eye on bigger cathedra than Ennis - could not have been more disinterested in See of Killaloe which really was in effect a stop-gap step for him

* translated to Cashel & Emly as successor to Drunken Dermot Clifford and installed on 8th. February 2015

* considered a traditionalist but moderate/realist...many not happy with his appointment and considered to be too much of a conservative even for the good folk and clergy of Cashel and Emly archdiocese - has his eye on Dublin or a red hat further afield but with Francis as pope this may not happen (please God it will not)

* not seen as a worry in relation matters theological etc (safe pair of hands)

* turns 75 on 8th. August 2027  (God help us all)

Clogher : Sede Vacante

* Liam McDaid was installed on 25th. July 2010 and resigned on ill health grounds on  1st. October 2016

* would have been due for retirement on 19th. July 2020 (would have turned 75 years of age)

* safe pair of conservative hands but would be considered by many as amenable and good listener to his clergy

* diocese currently administered by Monsignor Joseph McGuinness (who is not being considered to succeed)

Clonfert : Bishop John Kirbybishopkirby_web.jpg

* considered a traditionalist but realist

* not seen as a worry in relation matters theological etc (safe pair of hands)

* turned 75 on October 2013 and therefore en situ at least 3 years beyond retirement age which is not fair to him as he is considered by many as being effectively burnt out and deserving of retirement - he will not last long post-retirement regrettably

* mitred on 27th. January 2013

* considered a traditionalist but moderate...has already got himself embroiled in relation to the conservative / traditional side of church teachings...not really seen as affable but more dictatorial...despite his wish to be referred to as 'Bill'...commonly referred to as Willy but for different reasons!!

* not seen as a worry in relation matters theological etc (safe pair of hands) will see out his time there

* turns 75 on 16th. December 2026 (God help them!!)

bishopbuckley_web.jpgCork & Ross : Bishop John Buckley

* mitred on 29th. April 1984; installed as Bishop of Cork & Ross 6 February 1998

* appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Down and Connor 21 February 2001

* ordained Bishop 29 April 2001, appointed Bishop of Derry 25 February 2014; installed 6 April 2014.

* considered a traditionalist who deserved an episcopal appointment as reward for services rendered - pity the clergy of Derry were not considered in this regard

* not seen as a worry in relation matters theological etc (safe pair of hands) will see out his time there despite his brown nosing which is a continuous past time with him - as is thinking he is cool and 'down with the youth' (cringing pictures available in this regard and too frightening to post)

* turns 75 on 12th. April 2025 (God help Derry!!)
bishopnoeltreanor_web.jpgDown & Connor :  Noel Treanor
 * mitred on 29th. June 2008

* considered a traditionalist...a few scandals with gay clergy using Gay apps which he has not dealt with effectively...seems to be blundering his way along in the diocese ignoring the laity and protecting(the unprotectable) clergy - also the money spent on his Palace has raised more than eyebrows in Ireland and abroad!!

* not seen as a worry in relation matters theological etc (safe pair of hands) will see out his time there

* turns 75 in December  2025 (if not moved to another posting abroad or forced to resign due to incompetence and mismanagement of matters especially finance)

* not seen as a worry in relation matters theological etc (safe pair of hands) but has courted a lot of controversy and much more to come for him especially whilst on visit to Rome for Ad Limina (Martin of Tours his nickname)

* turns 75 on 8th. April 2020 (do not be surprised to hear of an early retirement here or him being granted the red had which has been elusive thus far)
Image result for bishop kevin doranElphin : Kevin Doran
* mitred on 13th. July 2014

* considered a very conservative traditionalist who was sent to Elphin to appease Diarmuid Martin who wanted rid of him from the Dublin Archdiocese as he was upsetting the media savvy AB

* not seen as a worry in relation matters theological etc (safe pair of hands) but has courted a lot of controversy and much more to come for himbut he will not go far under the Papacy of Francis

* turns 75 on 26th. June 2028 (do not be surprised to hear of his being considered for an archdiocese but only in the West - perhaps Tuam but not this time round)
